Privacy Policy.
What we collect on this website, why we collect it and the choices you have, in plain English.
Last updated: October 22, 2026
Pop's Padel (“we”, “us”) runs the padel club at 103 Mill Road, Freeport, NY 11520, and this website, popspadel.co. This policy explains how we handle the personal information we collect through the website. Questions? Write to ruby@popspadel.co or call 516-546-0900.
What we collect
- What you send us. When you use one of our forms (the Pop's List, the membership list, lesson inquiries, private event requests, league and tournament updates or a message), we receive your email address and, if you give them, your name, your phone number and the details you choose to share, such as your level or the kind of event you’re planning.
- How you found us. With each form we also note the page and language it was sent from and, for that visit, the page you arrived on and the website or campaign link that brought you here.
- How the website is used. We use Google Analytics to see which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are (city or region), which devices and browsers they use and how they reach us. Google Analytics doesn’t log or store IP addresses.
We don’t collect payment details on this website. Court bookings and payments happen on our booking partner’s platform (Playtomic), under its own privacy policy.
How we use it
- To answer your questions and requests, and to plan the lessons, events or memberships you ask us about.
- To send you club news, if you joined the Pop's List. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To understand what’s useful on the website and make it better.
We don’t sell or rent your personal information, and we don’t share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who handles it for us
Form submissions are stored with Google Firebase (Google Cloud) in the United States. Only the Pop's Padel team and our website developer can read them, through password-protected accounts. Website statistics are processed by Google Analytics. Both services work on our behalf. The map on our Visit & Contact page is provided by Google Maps, and the video on our New to Padel page loads from YouTube, in privacy-enhanced mode, only when you press play.
Cookies and similar technologies
- Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) to count visits and to tell new visitors from returning ones. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, these cookies are off by default.
- A few small preferences are saved in your browser, not as cookies: whether you’ve already seen our opening animation or closed the membership invitation and, during your visit, the page you arrived on.
We don’t use advertising cookies. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings, and opt out of Google Analytics on every website with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions for as long as we need them to reply and follow up and, for the Pop's List, until you unsubscribe. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you, by writing to ruby@popspadel.co. We’ll reply as soon as we can.
Children
This website isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child has sent us their information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Security
The website runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and only staff accounts can see form submissions. No way of sending or storing information online is completely secure, but we take reasonable care to protect what you share with us.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new date.
